Where the money goes
Sip for the Cure exists for a cure. Thanks to you, we are one step closer.
In May, 213 of you walked up through the vineyards above Moraira and raised €23,395 between you. In June we handed €35,000 to INCLIVA in Valencia. It went into the REPLY trial — children with non-Hodgkin lymphoma, a cancer that attracts far less research funding than it should.
We promised INCLIVA €50,000 this year. €15,000 is still to find, and it is the gifts on this page that will find it.

The things people ask
How close are we to a cure?
Most children with lymphoma are cured today, but the treatments are hard, and for the children who relapse the options run out quickly. The REPLY trial at INCLIVA is working on exactly that group: gentler, more targeted treatment for children whose cancer comes back.
How much of my donation goes to research?
All of it. Sip for the Cure is run by volunteers and our events are paid for by local sponsors, so the money you give on this page goes to INCLIVA in full. We publish what we hand over each year.
Can I give a one-off donation?
Yes — choose the one-off tab above. We ask for monthly gifts because a trial runs for years, and knowing what is coming in lets INCLIVA plan the work rather than wait for the next event.
Will I get a tax deduction?
Not for gifts made to Sip for the Cure directly — we are an association, not a foundation, and Spanish law does not allow us to issue certificates. If you pay tax in Spain and are giving €250 or more, give it to INCLIVA under our campaign instead and 80% of the first €250 comes back on your Renta. See The 250 Club above.
Why give now, when everything costs more?
Because a trial cannot pause. The children on it are being treated this month, and the €15,000 we still have to raise for INCLIVA this year is the difference between the work carrying on and the work waiting. A small monthly gift, from many of us, is how a village funds a cancer trial.
